Founded by Clifford Camfield after more than 18 years experience of laying wet pour safety surfacing. Clifford saw there was a need for safety surfacing beyond plain black and designs currently available.
With his specialist laying skills and graphics knowledge, he can create with you an outstanding play area of exceptional quality, having amassed a wealth of experience working on sites throughout the UK, including both the Great Ormond Street sites.
We contracted Rainbow Safety Surfacing to provide the club with low maintenance, attractive and quiet pathways around our clubhouse and on the course. We have been very impressed by the result, but more importantly, Cliff’s working practices made implementation of the whole project really very straightforward, clean, neat and timely. We made the decision to put safety flooring in the garden covering a large area for our grandchildren when they came to play. After doing a lot of research online across a number of companies supplying and installing safety flooring, we had some come and measure up and quote. I have to say out of all the companies you can use for safety flooring, you cannot beat the friendly service provided by Rainbow Safety Flooring.
From start to finish the service was unbeatable. They came out and went through the options we could have, wide range of colours and helped design the area where the safety flooring was going. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Lynn (Company Secretary) was always at the end of the phone, she managed to get what we wanted in relation to colours for our stepping stone mushrooms and a flower springer, an extremely friendly service and always went the extra mile...
As for the groundwork’s and installation of the flooring, I have never come across such a friendly, hard working bunch of guys, what a fantastic team Rainbow Safety Flooring have working for them. Again nothing was ever too much trouble, they checked my requirements at every stage of the installation process and nothing was too much trouble even when we changed our minds. I would highly recommend anyone to use Rainbow Safety Flooring, not only did they provide such an outstanding friendly service from start to finish they were also great value for money!!!

I saw the finished job today and was chuffed. Rainbow asked for a testament for their website. Feel free to use this and change any grammar that needs fixing. I was very impressed with the friendly efficient service provided by the Rainbow team that came to Albion School. They worked like clockwork, paying great attention to the details of the job. The way in which the rubber met the metal drains and surrounding sleepers was very tidy. I have just paid online.

I have been employed in my current position for 14 years and my responsibilities are the inspection and maintenance of children’s play areas. As part of my duties I gather quotations for the provision of new items of play equipment and safety surfacing and other associated works. I have previously used 3 other nationwide well known companies but I find that the service and advice which Rainbow Safety Surfacing provides is second to none and where I am able I would use them again and again as the surfacing does not ‘sink’ or crumble as we have experienced from others. Highly recommended. An excellent company to deal with.

A great big Thank you to the whole team at Rainbow. They did an amazing job from start to finish ! Cliff visited our setting within days of me contacting them and a quote was with us the following day. The team organised to complete the resurfacing of our outdoor area on May day Bank holiday which caused no disruption to the nursery. The team arrived bright and early, I was very impressed with the team work displayed - each person had a specific job which they carried out skilfully and professionally and the nursery garden was left clean, tidy and finished to an extremely high level. The following day the Children and Parents returned to the wonderful surprise of an exciting and bright new playground. I received some very positive comments from the Children, Parents and Staff who are all now enjoying our beautiful new playground. Many Thanks once again.

Hi Lynn, and all at Rainbow Safety I just wanted to extend our thanks for the fantastic job you did for us - the path looks amazing and gets admiring comments from all who see it!
